Hi Skill, I gave the big gun a try, but 260 standard pen isn't reliable against t10 tanks and the gun handling stats are very bad. Even the 200 pen of the HESH doesn't work if there are no lightly armored tanks in the enemy team. The worst thing - all 3 Types of amo has only ~800 shell velocity. Sniping? Forget it. Actually the GM is very low (I think ~2.800 for 95%). So you have better chances to reach that, if you are using the DPM gun. Way more accurate and you have APRC as Premium - high shell velocity and higher pen of 326.

This game is absolute fraudulent garbage. The sellers paid by wargaming are showing a game that has nothing to do with reality. Wargaming makes money from player frustration - premium ammo, food, always new crappy tanks. The most unfair matchmaking, lots of cheaters in the game and you can buy ratings and special tanks for a lot of money on eBay. An El Dorado for cheaters. Wargaming has no honor, it's just greedy. Read the comments under TRUST PILOT.

Dear Skill, it took my a while to write down this comment so i hope you will read it. Im 2,5years into the game and never had the progetto before nerf, I actually got it last week. I played mainly heavies, but i have quite some hours on borat, char and obj140. I perform better with progetto than almost any tank except is7 and maybe obj705a. It might not have the dps of a tvp or 140, but it’s so much more flexible, can actually bounce on track and turret if properly hulldown. The gun is good, i hit most shots, and standard ammo in pair with unique reloading makes this tank so much profitable for me, i feel zero need to spam gold as much as i don’t carry them. Loading mechanic is so much more flexible and adaptive than other auto loaders. Good damage per shot is huge benefit. Decent hp allow for trading and the tank itself is very good in almost any situation, both long matches and 2 min ones. I think the judgement from people is largely due to it’s previous state then an objective analysis of performance. The game at tier ten is most balanced now then i have ever experienced (not so much on lower tiers), i guess this generally makes older hi skill playes with many tanks ready to play quite unhappy cause it’s harder to over excel in game during various meta shifts. Idk, just my 2 cents

Imo from the pov of a viewer, the small gun is just boring to watch compared to the derp gun.

tbh when I see a M41, T49 or Sheri in our team on a "scout" map I kinda expect it to be a throw unless the enemy is similarly burdened. The T49 may be a nice unarmoured pocket Medium; the DPM is glorious, but it utterly sucks as a Light. Anything will outspot you, everything will hit your huge towering silhouette. Of course there can be special circumstances and special players, but by default the T49 is a liability to your team.
